Obituary

Ronald Edward Young, 64, of Beckley, passed away May 5, 2019. He was born on December 16, 1954 in Oak Hill, to the late Loren and Jerelene Plumley Young.
Ron retired from the IRS in Beckley. He was a veteran of the US Air Force. Ron loved to fish and hunt. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife of eight years, Nancy, and family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ora and Grover Plumley and uncle and aunt, Donald and Helene Plumley.
Left to cherish his memory include his wife, Nancy Jane Fletcher Young, daughters; Jamie Young, Katie (Kyle) Taylor, Christie (Jason) Adkins and son, Jamie Mink as well as his grandchildren; Maddie, Jayce, Ethan and Elijah. He will be missed by his brothers; Mike (Danita) Young, Greg (Carrie) Young and sister, Sherri (Doug) Lucas, nephews; Phillip (Leslie) and Chris (Jessica) Young, Nieces; Taylor, Stephanie and Mackenzie Young, great-nephew, Jackson Young and great–niece, Harper Young. CJ Plumley, Donna Musgrave, Bellami Plumley, Donald Gragg and Curtis Price were very special friends of Ronald.
Services will be at 2:00pm Saturday, May 11, a High Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Arnold Simonse officiating. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park.
