Obituary

Beverly “Mick” Adkins, 69, of Oak Hill, WV went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 24, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston.
Born December 21, 1949 at Fayetteville, WV. Mick was a humble and quiet man. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and member of the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene. He worked as a welder for many years and worked for the Board of Education (a job he loved). He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting and hanging out with his son and grandson.
Mick was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Adkins. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 48 years, Marlene Adkins, his son Jason Adkins and Brandy, his mother Betty Jean Adkins, sisters, Sherry Asire, Drema Johnson and Whitey, grandson, Jace Adkins and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2019 at the Oak Hill Church of the Nazarene at 3221 East Main Street. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 12:30p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
